Is There a Positive Somewhere?

I have been listening to the news and I want to stay feeling positive but there has been a lot of bad news out there. News that gives me concern. Children beating another child, a student attacking her teacher, a group of nine planning to attack their teacher. I don't know if it because of TV or the video games that are violent or not ,or has this been as bad before but not reported. I know there were gangs when I was in school but they were in the inner city. There was also a report that more students are dropping out of high school.

Dr John reported my daughters accident of the car. Pennie was in the house of a client and her car was hit by a man pulling out of his driveway. She was parked on the other side of the road. He said it was a narrow road. Pennie questioned that statement. The road is wider than the road in front of our home. The man should not have had trouble if he was careful. the police agreed. She can drive the car safely but can't open the backdoor. She feels bad because things were beginning to look like there was light at the end of the tunnel of debt. The odd thing is that earlier another worker was at the house and her car was also hit by another neighbor. This is a neighborhood of bad drivers. Earlier in the day she was being followed by a red car. She pulled over to park and that car also pulled over. She went back out and made some turns and the red car stayed with her. She then went towards the police station and the car left her.

Very smart move by your daughter. Good job paying attention.

I rarely watch the news because it's just too much.

I agree with you Betty, I think it is the violence on TV and the Internet that is causing all this violence today. Good you daughter was paying attention and drove towards the police station.

A Blessed Weekend is wished for you and Dr John

I don't know if kids are more violent or not today. I know that when I was in school, the teachers words was law. And if you went home in trouble, your parents would say, What did you do? today if the kids go home in troube, the parents say, What did that teacher do? parents don't take responsibility for their kids today. They make the school educate them and be their parents also. The schools and teachers weren't meant to be the parents. That is what has happened with Mom's working instead of being home with their kids. I think that children need more supervision, even when they are older.

Pennie did good by going to the police station. Probably should make note of where all of them are in her area.
