Quilly
Gaden looked at the assembled Paladin, a proud small group which swore allegiance to him. It did seem that their beards and hair had a gray tone now. Worry and wrangling had done that. Could he bring them back to a dynamic force in the Providence? The invidious Volten had broken their unity weakening the Paladin almost to ineffective. Intransigent Gaden stood against the allies of Volten.
Young Volten was sure he had nearly won over the entire Paladin with his one to one engagements. He was persuading them to change the structure of the Paladin to include those without the power to heal. Warriors is what they needed not healers. Volten turned to look at the powerful Gaden in his golden robes.
" For years we have been the instruments in keeping peace in the Providence using are caring abilities. Fear leads to hate and hate to war. Our abilities to heal the injuries to body and soul has kept us peaceful. Please join me in treating those who have begun to fear." Gaden ended his speech and those who were with him joined him in kneeling. One by one others joined those kneeling.
Volten felt the power in the room, and he found himself falling to his knees. The Paladin had become one again.

I am so glad the paladin remain unsullied. Knights in shining armor need always to exist in some time frame.
